Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 The time I took a hiatus from something important was in 8th grade when I took a break from school. I was out for a couple weeks maybe even a month because I was moving from Georgia to Indiana. The trip was long and we had so much to move. We eventually made it but our house wasn't ready yet so we were out for another week until finally we were able to enroll in school. The break was obviously fun but I missed quite a bit of school and work so I had to catch up. It wasn't too hard doing all my work but there was just so much. 

Today in class we were given a vocabulary assignment. We were also asked to copy the vocabulary words and definitions. Today was a good day I was very comfortable and productive.

 A truth I was afraid to accept was that I would be moving states. Nearly all my life i’ve lived in Indiana I grew up there and moved back and forth from there, but after each time I always ended up back there. Around a year or two ago my mom had a talk with me and my siblings to tell us that we would be moving to a better place that would give us better opportunities. Although this was nice I didn’t wanna leave the life I knew behind. I cried and cried but eventually I came to terms with it and I was okay with moving. Vocabulary

 Today in class we got new vocabulary. We also took notes on evidence and the three different kinds. This will help me in future papers that I might have to write. I can use the new vocabulary to help me build my vocabulary and learn new words. I enjoyed learning the new words. Today was a good day.

 Today in class we received a group assignment where we all got different roles and had to use a story to do it. We each created our own mural that we will then have to present to the class on wednesday. I learned about the story and i enjoyed reading the story. Overall today was okay just tiring.
