Write about your most special holiday memory.

 A most special holiday memory that I have was during Christmas when I was in 5th grade. Me and my family went to visit my great grandparents to spend the holiday together. We ate so much food and had so much fun talking and playing dominos, cards, and dice games. We watched movies and danced to music. Afterwards we exchanged gifts and just enjoyed being together.

Today in class we read chapters 8-10 of A lesson before dying and then answered discussion questions.

Write about a truth you were afraid to accept

 A truth I was afraid to accept was that I would be moving states. Nearly all my life i’ve lived in Indiana I grew up there and moved back and forth from there, but after each time I always ended up back there. Around a year or two ago my mom had a talk with me and my siblings to tell us that we would be moving to a better place that would give us better opportunities. Although this was nice I didn’t wanna leave the life I knew behind. I cried and cried but eventually I came to terms with it and I was okay with moving. Today in class we worked on the assignment we got yesterday and any missing assignments to help boost our grades. This allowed us to better our grades.

Vocabulary

 Today in class we got new vocabulary. We also took notes on evidence and the three different kinds. This will help me in future papers that I might have to write. I can use the new vocabulary to help me build my vocabulary and learn new words. I enjoyed learning the new words. Today was a good day.

 Today in class we received a group assignment where we all got different roles and had to use a story to do it. We each created our own mural that we will then have to present to the class on wednesday. I learned about the story and i enjoyed reading the story. Overall today was okay just tiring.
