Write about a time when you were judged unfairly

 The time I was judged unfairly was in 8th grade I had a teacher who didn't like me. Regardless of the amount of good grades and the amount of effort I put into the class there seemed to be nothing to change the teachers mind. For a while I thought maybe the teacher just came off as rude to me but did like me. Until one day they made a very negative comment to me about what I usually wear. From there on I never stopped thinking about it because I had never had a real conversation with the teacher and their reason for their dislike towards me, in my mind, seemed very childish and unfair.

Today in class we were introduced to a novel called A Lesson Before Dying. We also went over the differences in connotation and denotation as well as some practice with connotation. Then to have a better understanding of the story we went over the qualities of Man and finished off by listening to chapter one of the story.

 A truth I was afraid to accept was that I would be moving states. Nearly all my life i’ve lived in Indiana I grew up there and moved back and forth from there, but after each time I always ended up back there. Around a year or two ago my mom had a talk with me and my siblings to tell us that we would be moving to a better place that would give us better opportunities. Although this was nice I didn’t wanna leave the life I knew behind. I cried and cried but eventually I came to terms with it and I was okay with moving. Vocabulary

 Today in class we got new vocabulary. We also took notes on evidence and the three different kinds. This will help me in future papers that I might have to write. I can use the new vocabulary to help me build my vocabulary and learn new words. I enjoyed learning the new words. Today was a good day.

 Today in class we received a group assignment where we all got different roles and had to use a story to do it. We each created our own mural that we will then have to present to the class on wednesday. I learned about the story and i enjoyed reading the story. Overall today was okay just tiring.
