Write about something that you can't stop thinking about

 Something I cant stop thinking about is last summer. My last summer was so much fun, I went to Puerto Rico where my mother grew up and visited my friends and practiced my sport. During this time I was so carefree because I didn't have to worry about much. Summer is also my favorite season and Im usually my happiest during that time so i think about it often. 

Today in class we read chapters 2-3 of A Lesson Before Dying. We also answered discussion questions and talked about them with the class.

Write about a truth you were afraid to accept

 A truth I was afraid to accept was that I would be moving states. Nearly all my life i’ve lived in Indiana I grew up there and moved back and forth from there, but after each time I always ended up back there. Around a year or two ago my mom had a talk with me and my siblings to tell us that we would be moving to a better place that would give us better opportunities. Although this was nice I didn’t wanna leave the life I knew behind. I cried and cried but eventually I came to terms with it and I was okay with moving. Today in class we worked on the assignment we got yesterday and any missing assignments to help boost our grades. This allowed us to better our grades.

Vocabulary

 Today in class we got new vocabulary. We also took notes on evidence and the three different kinds. This will help me in future papers that I might have to write. I can use the new vocabulary to help me build my vocabulary and learn new words. I enjoyed learning the new words. Today was a good day.

group assignment

 Today in class we received a group assignment where we all got different roles and had to use a story to do it. We each created our own mural that we will then have to present to the class on wednesday. I learned about the story and i enjoyed reading the story. Overall today was okay just tiring.
