Write about something that you wish you had more of

 Something that I wish I had more of is money. I wish to repay my parents. Growing up even though my family wasn't wealthy my parents made sure that I had the necessities of life. If I asked for something they tried their hardest to get it for me. I was also raised to work for the things I have and to never complain about work because at least I am supporting my family. Although now me and my family are good in terms of money I still wish I had more to repay my parents for all they've done for me.


Today in class we finished our Nothing Gold Can Stay Presentation. The assignment is due today and it is about things we have seen that started off beautiful and changed or faded over time. This assignment has helped me realize the beautiful things in life that I take for granted. It has helped me be more considerate of things around me such as nature, people, and objects. I can use this to help me in the future to not take things for granted.

 A truth I was afraid to accept was that I would be moving states. Nearly all my life i’ve lived in Indiana I grew up there and moved back and forth from there, but after each time I always ended up back there. Around a year or two ago my mom had a talk with me and my siblings to tell us that we would be moving to a better place that would give us better opportunities. Although this was nice I didn’t wanna leave the life I knew behind. I cried and cried but eventually I came to terms with it and I was okay with moving. Vocabulary

 Today in class we got new vocabulary. We also took notes on evidence and the three different kinds. This will help me in future papers that I might have to write. I can use the new vocabulary to help me build my vocabulary and learn new words. I enjoyed learning the new words. Today was a good day.

 Today in class we received a group assignment where we all got different roles and had to use a story to do it. We each created our own mural that we will then have to present to the class on wednesday. I learned about the story and i enjoyed reading the story. Overall today was okay just tiring.
