Discussion questions
Today in class we answered some discussion questions about the story “The Rockpile”. This was a good review of the story to help us better understand the reading since we have a test on it on friday. Today was a good day.
Write about a truth you were afraid to accept
A truth I was afraid to accept was that I would be moving states. Nearly all my life i’ve lived in Indiana I grew up there and moved back and forth from there, but after each time I always ended up back there. Around a year or two ago my mom had a talk with me and my siblings to tell us that we would be moving to a better place that would give us better opportunities. Although this was nice I didn’t wanna leave the life I knew behind. I cried and cried but eventually I came to terms with it and I was okay with moving. Today in class we worked on the assignment we got yesterday and any missing assignments to help boost our grades. This allowed us to better our grades.
