      Today in class we worked on using our vocabulary words in sentences and some exercises along with that. I got a deeper and better understanding of the 15 vocab words. I plan to use this to help me practice learning other words. I liked that I was able to use the vocabulary words to give me a better understanding of each word. Today I am feeling tired this week has been very busy but I’m glad I get to end it with a three day weekend to refresh my brain for next week.

      Today in class we worked on an assignment for vocabulary words that we have received. I learned some new words and their meanings. It impacted me by being able to expand my vocabulary. I plan to use this knowledge to further expand my vocabulary and use different words with the same meanings to make my points clearer. I enjoyed learning new words and their meanings as well as getting a clearer understanding of words I already knew. Today I feel tired and I’d much rather sleep than be at school but i will make it through the day. 

      Today in class we took a quiz on Origin Myths and worked on our group projects if needed. Today I didn’t really learn much but just maintaining what we already learned throughout the week. I can use this to help me in future assignments. I liked that I was able to go over information that we have been learning throughout the week so I can see how well I actually do understand what we’ve been learning. Today has been a good day and it’s been very calm and comfortable.

     Today in class we read the Native story “The Jealous Father” and worked on a group project. I learned about how jealously got to Aioswe and caused him to attempt to get rid of his son. It impacted me by being able to understand and visualize what Native American people thought of and taught through their stories. I can use this to better understand Native culture. I liked the story and found it interesting. My day is going good and going by fast.

 Today in class we read a story about the Iroquois origin story. I learned about a story that the Iroquois people told and passed down for many years. It impacted me by giving me a better understanding of what they believed as well as their values. I can use this information to better understand the Iroquois people and their culture and beliefs. I enjoyed reading the story and hearing what their perspective was on the creation of the continent. Today i feel good the day has gone by fast and calmly.

 Three goals I want to achieve this year is to maintain good grades, maintain focus on school, and to pass all my classes. One of my goals is to maintain good grades I can do this by staying ahead on my work and doing homework so I don’t get behind. Another goal of mine is to maintain focus on school and I could do this by not letting people or things that I have going on distract me. My last goal for this year is to pass all my classes and I can do this by doing all my work and studying for quizzes and tests for each class.
